Web application development

Web applications engineered for scale.

Dashboards, portals, SaaS products, marketplaces and internal platforms built with Next.js, React, TypeScript and Node.js, with the API layer, security and performance work that keeps them fast at ten times the traffic.

Overview

How we approach it.

A web application is a product, an API, a data model, a deployment pipeline and a security posture. Most agencies deliver the first one and leave you to discover the rest. We design and build all five, and we hand over code your own engineers can read.

We build with technologies chosen for your product, not because they are fashionable: React and Next.js for the interface, TypeScript end to end, Node.js or Python services, PostgreSQL where the data is relational, and hosting on Vercel, AWS, Azure or OCI depending on where you already live.

Technologies we reach for

  • Next.js
  • React
  • TypeScript
  • Node.js
  • Python
  • PostgreSQL
  • GraphQL
  • Tailwind CSS
  • Vercel
  • AWS
  • GitHub Actions

What we deliver

Capabilities

Everything Amrelia Technologies designs, builds and runs under Web Development.

  • What we build

Customer portals, admin platforms, operations dashboards, SaaS products, marketplaces, booking systems and the internal tools nobody wants to buy off the shelf.

  • Frontend engineering

React and Next.js with server rendering, a real design system, accessibility from the first component and Core Web Vitals treated as bugs when they slip.

  • Backend engineering

Node.js, Python or Java services with clear boundaries, typed contracts, background jobs and the boring reliability work: retries, idempotency, timeouts.

  • API architecture

REST and GraphQL APIs designed before they are coded: versioning, authentication, rate limits, documentation your partners can integrate against.

  • SaaS development

Multi-tenant data models, roles and permissions, billing and subscriptions, onboarding, admin tooling and usage analytics.

  • Security

OWASP-aligned reviews, dependency scanning, secrets management, secure headers and CSP, authentication done with a proven provider rather than from scratch.

  • Performance

Edge caching, streaming, image and font strategy, database indexing and load testing before launch, not after the first outage.

  • Cloud deployment

Preview environments for every branch, infrastructure as code, zero-downtime releases and rollback that takes one click.

  • Quality engineering

Unit, integration and end-to-end tests in CI; accessibility and Lighthouse budgets enforced; a release checklist that gets shorter as automation grows.

  • Support

Monitoring, dependency updates, incident response and a roadmap, so the product keeps improving after launch.

How we work

Six stages, each with deliverables and your involvement.

  1. What happens

Users, workflows, data and constraints. A written brief you approve.

SportzOS: a league platform with live scoring across seven sports

Registration, payments direct to organisers, fixtures, live scoring and standings for tennis, pickleball, cricket, soccer, basketball, volleyball and baseball, in one app and one website.

Problem
Organisers ran registration on forms, fixtures on spreadsheets and scores on group chats. Players had no single place to find a league, pay, and follow results.
Solution
A cross-platform app and web platform with sport-specific scorers, a standings engine, organiser tooling, and entry fees that go straight to the organiser.

iOS, Android, web

Zylpe: a WordPress site rebuilt in Next.js without changing a URL

A page-builder marketing site for an IoT analytics and digital transformation firm, rebuilt page for page as a fast Next.js site with every public URL preserved.

Problem
The WordPress site carried a heavy page builder, a slider plugin and leftover e-commerce modules, which made it slow to load and risky to update.
Solution
We crawled the live site, turned its page-builder sections into a typed content model, and rendered all 47 pages from data in Next.js, self-hosting every asset and font.
